As you no doubt have figured out from the “Troop 4” website, I am a boy scout.

What you might not realize is that I am also an Eagle scout, and that I reached Eagle during the sumer of 2004.

Shortly after the ceremony, I decided I wanted to put an article on this site describing the ceremony, however this project languished as I focused on other projects and my fall semester schoolwork.

But now, as the new year 2005 begins, I am finally serious about getting the story onto the web.

Since the ceremony, I’ve made a great many things, most of which can be found on Hornbostel Media

So, now that I have a little spare time, I present to you the story of my Eagle Ceremony, patched together from scattered memories, recorded video and photographs, and other things.

My version of it is a long story that goes off on many tangents. Like the Cancun story, don’t read this unless you really want to know the details of the story.

You have been warned.
